Learn more about Chrysalis courses
Statistics from The Mental Health Foundation show that one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health issue at some point this year. The UK always needs counsellors and you can help people overcome mental health conditions by training to become a counsellor with Chrysalis Not For Profit.
We supply a number of training programmes which give you the skillset and the professional recognition you need to establish a career in counselling. You can download our guide if you want to learn about the training programmes we provide, but if you want to find out more you should come along to one of our open days.
‘One stop shop’ to enrolling on a Chrysalis course
We hold a series of open days across the UK throughout the year. These open days are designed to act as a ‘one stop shop’ for enrolling on a Chrysalis course.
The day begins with a presentation from our head of hypnotherapy; Karen Ferguson. This lasts 45 minutes and covers course syllabuses, structures, accreditation and the steps you need to take to enrol on your chosen programme. Members of the Chrysalis team will be present throughout the open day to answer any extra questions you have about our courses.
Interview for a Chrysalis course at our open days
After the presentation, you’ll be encouraged to stay for a 20 minute interview. You’ll find a pen, course brochure and an application form on your chair and you’ll need to complete the form before you go in for your interview.
The interview is an informal meeting with a member of the Chrysalis team which gives you a chance to ask any questions you still have about our courses and us a chance to find out a little bit more about you. These are often the last interviews we hold before the next class starts and there is no requirement to commit to a Chrysalis course at the interview stage.
