Chrysalis Not For Profit has decided to hold two open days in October 2015. These events will provide you with the information you need to enrol on Chrysalis Courses.
Career in counselling
Figures supplied by the Mental Health Foundation, a UK mental health charity, indicate that nearly a quarter of the UK’s population will experience some kind of mental health condition this year. These people can benefit from talking therapies such as counselling, which give them the support they need to tackle the underlying issues which cause mental health conditions.
With mental health conditions so commonplace, the UK can never have enough counsellors. You can support people living with mental health conditions across the country by enrolling on a range of Chrysalis courses. Our training schemes, which you can find out more about by applying for a Chrysalis brochure, will give you the skills, knowledge and experience you need to start a career in counselling.
If you wish to find out more about what you can expect when you enrol on the Chrysalis course of your choice, you should attend one of Chrysalis Not For Profit’s open days. Held regularly throughout the UK, these days provide everything you need to enrol on your preferred Chrysalis training scheme.
When you attend one of our open days, you’ll be provided with information concerning the syllabus, structure, accreditation and enrolment procedure of each Chrysalis educational scheme. We also host 20 minute interviews at each event, allowing you to take preliminary steps towards signing up for your chosen Chrysalis course.
This autumn, Chrysalis Not For Profit will hold courses in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Hypnotherapy at 28 venues across the UK. We will host open days at Cardiff University on 8th October, Southampton University on 9th October, Churchill College in Cambridge on 13th October and Manchester University on the 22nd October. These open days are to provide you with more information concerning these educational schemes.
At these events you’ll be given the chance to ask the Chrysalis team anything you’d like to know about our upcoming educational programmes. The days will be attended by several members of the Chrysalis team; student support office Nadine, counsellor and tutor Mandy, and hypnotherapy tutor Bryony. Our interviewer Angela will also attend, giving you the chance to engage in an informal interview to enrol on your chosen Chrysalis course.
