The survey was very short just to get a bit of feedback about how the day went and what we can do better. The open days can be tricky to predict and plan so we are always looking for feedback and improvements to make the days as enjoyable and informative as possible.
As I had written in an earlier blog I was balled over by how friendly everyone in Belfast was and by the fantastic turn out and it would seem I wasn’t the only happy lady on the day!
The survey revealed that over 75% of you were very satisfied or satisfied with the information available on the day and the majority of you would recommend this event to someone else.
The written comments were also great; ‘informative’, ‘friendly’, ‘relaxed’, ‘helpful’, ‘perfect duration and content’.
There was some improvements suggested as well, which we welcome completely. One person suggested we need another interviewer at hand to reduce the wait time for an interview on the day. This is certainly something I agree with. It is very hard to predict on the day how many people are going to attend and how many people will want an interview on the day and on this occasion there was only two of us available to the 25 people that wanted to have their interview. It was slower than normal given the numbers, but I am pleased to report that everyone was seen.
In the future we will be looking to have another interviewer in the area on standby, or indeed with us at the event if the registration numbers suggest they will be needed.
Overall, I was really grateful for the responses, suggestions and largely praise. I really hope we can continue the good work in Bristol later this month and then in Maidstone come May!
